WHAT IS THE EDUCATION FOUNDATION OF JACKSON HOLE (EFJH)?

EFJH is the engine behind what public education can be when it’s fully supported, stepping in where state and federal funding fall short.

HOW IS EDUCATION FOUNDATION OF JACKSON HOLE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER NONPROFITS?

EFJH is the only organization designated as the official philanthropic partner of the Teton County School District #1.

WHY NOT GIVE DIRECTLY TO SCHOOLS?

The school district does not have the capacity or structure to accept donations directly.

SHOULDN’T MY PROPERTY TAXES BE ENOUGH?

Wyoming funds public schools through a state model. While Teton County collects local taxes, any amount beyond the model’s limit goes to the state for redistribution. Public funding and federal support don’t fully cover essential programs, so EFJH raises private funds to bridge the gap for Teton County public schools and students.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

GIVE TODAY. Make your check payable to the Education Foundation of Jackson Hole, or give by credit card.

MAKE A PLEDGE. You can pledge to make your gift in installments covering any period up to three years. Payments can be made monthly, quarterly, or annually.

GIVE WITH CONFIDENCE. Giving through the Education Foundation of Jackson Hole is a safe and easy way to support Teton County School District. All gifts directly support TCSD’s schools, teachers, staff, and students.

SPREAD THE WORD. Without community investment, critical gaps widen. Food insecurity, untreated mental health needs and dental emergencies don’t pause for bureaucracy and student needs are rising. Encourage your friends to join you in supporting us.
